As a Junior in 2013-14:
Busted onto the scene in her first season as a Bobcatwith 40 points (23 goals, 17 assists) in all 37 games played… Named ECAC Hockey Player of the Month for February afterleading the Bobcats with 12 points (six goals, six assists) ineight games … Named ECAC Hockey Player of the Week on March4, 2014 after registering five points (two goals, three assists) inthe Bobcats’ ECAC Hockey Quarterfinal series victory over St.Lawrence at home … Named to the 2013 Nutmeg ClassicAll-Tournament Team after scoring five points (three goals, twoassists) in two games … She rounded out her 2013-14 campaignwith a +24 plus/minus rating in addition to four power-play goals,one shorthanded goal, five game-winners and one game-tying goal… Also tallied five multi-goal games, 12 multi-point gamesand also became just the 12th player in program historyto score a hat trick … Finished the season with the mostgoals scored (23) and most power-play goals (5) of any Bobcat… She also finished 23th in all of Division I in terms ofpoints per game (1.08), 7th in goals per game (0.62),tied for 69th in assists per game (0.46) tied for47th in power-play goals (4), and tied for8th in game-winning goals (5) … … Her 40points in 2013-14 ranks is tied for the 4th-most pointsscored in a single-season in program history …Darkangelo’s 23 goals are the 3rd-most scored in asingle-season in program history while her 17 assists sit tied for9th-place in the single-season record books atQuinnipiac … She is the first player not named KellyBabstock to tally more than 16 goals in a single-season in programhistory while her 40 points also rank as the highest total for anyplayer in program history other than Babstock … Combinedwith Babstock’s 49-point season in 2013-14,Darkangelo’s 40-point outburst marked the first time in thehistory of Quinnipiac women’s ice hockey that the Bobcatshave had two players with at least 40 points in the same season… Darkangelo and Babstock combined to either score or assiston 67.3 percent (66-of-98) of the Bobcats’ goals in 2013-14which was good enough for the highest percentage of any pair ofteammates for any team in Div. Picked up an assist in a2-1 non-conference victory at home over New Hampshire …Scored the lone goal in a 1-1 tie on the road against Princeton onNov. 26 … Posted one of the greatest single games inQuinnipiac women’s ice hockey history as she tallied fivepoints (three goals, two assists), tied for the 2nd-mostin a single-game in program history, in a 8-0 win over RIT in theFirst Round of the Nutmeg Classic … Finished withback-to-back multi-point games in a home series against Union (twogoals) and Rensselaer (one goal, one assist) on Dec. 6-7 …Scored twice on the road against Rensselaer on Jan. 10 … Wasthe Bobcats’ best scorer down the stretch as she scored atleast one point in 11 of the 13 games remaining on the Quinnipiacschedule … Tallied six points (two goals, four assists) in afive-game scoring streak from Jan. 17 through Feb. 7 …Highlighting that streak was her two-point (one goal, one assist)game at home in a 2-2 tie against No. 3/5 Harvard as well as hergame-tying goal late in the third period of a 3-3 tie at No. 3Clarkson … Posted a career-best six-game point streak at thetail end of the season to help her earn the ECAC Hockey Player ofthe Month honors for February … During that point streakincluded four multi-point games and five points (three goals, twoassists) in the Bobcats’ ECAC Hockey Quarterfinal seriesvictory over St. Lawrence … Darkangelo scored bothgame-winning goals in the playoffs against St. Lawrence while shealso either scored or assisted on five of the Bobcats’ sevengoals in postseason play.

Spent her freshman and sophomore seasons at SyracuseUniversity where she led her team to the 2013 College HockeyAmerica Championship Game…Transfers to Quinnipiac in 2013after compiling 42 points (23 goals, 19 assists) in 70 careergames…She led Syracuse in goals (16), game-winning goals(four), and tallied the second-most power-play goals (four) in2012-13…Finished 2012-13 with 24 points (16 goals, eightassists) for the second-highest scoring total on theOrange…Named CHA Player of the Week on 1/14/13 after scoringher second career hat trick on 1/8 against Colgate…In herfreshman year she finished with 18 points (seven goals, 11 assists)including four power-play goals in 35 games…Recorded a hattrick with three power-play goals in the CHA semifinals againstMercyhurst on 3/2/12, becoming the first player in Syracuse programhistory to score three power-play goals in onegame…Earned a spot on the CHA All-Tournament Team and CHARookie of the Week honors following her playoff hat trick in2012…Played for the Detroit Little Caesar’s while inhigh school at Brighton High School…Won gold medal with USAHockey’s U-18 National Team at the 2010 Ice Hockey WorldChampionships in Sweden…Also played lacrosse while atBrighton, earning All-State honors.
