Lamarche Nets Third Hat Trick, No.7 Bobcats Shutout RPI

HAMDEN, Conn. – The No. 7 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team completed an ECAC weekend sweep with an 8-0 shutout victory over RPI on Saturday afternoon.
After recording three assists in Friday's win, Zoe Uens stayed hot, opening the scoring just 1:20 into the game.
Emerson Jarvis added to the lead midway through the first, marking her fifth goal in the last six games.
Ella Johnson recorded her first collegiate goal, giving the Bobcats a 3-0 lead heading into the second period.
Quinnipiac kept their offense going in the second, scoring three power-play goals - one from Tessa Holk and two from Kahlen Lamarche.
Uens tallied her second of the game early in the third, capping back-to-back multi-point performances.
Lamarche closed out the scoring with her third hat trick of the season, bringing her total to 17 goals in nine games.
Goaltender Felicia Frank turned aside all 19 shots on net to earn her third shutout and 11th win of the season.
