HAMDEN, Conn. – No. 7 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey begins a two-week homestand with a pair of ECAC matchups against Union and RPI.
The Bobcats take on the Garnet Chargers Friday at 4:30 p.m., televised on NESN, before facing the Engineers on Saturday at 3 p.m.

SCOUTING UNION
- Quinnipiac is 40-1-4 all-time against Union and 9-1-0 in the last ten meetings with the Garnet Chargers.
- First year Megan Duplantie earned ECAC Hockey #Bitcoin Rookie of the Week honors on 10/7 and 10/21 after having 2 multi-goal games vs Merrimack and Saint Anselm.
- Goaltenders Emma Rhéaume and Monja Wagner combined for 74 saves this past weekend against Clarkson and St. Lawrence.
SCOUTING RPI
- Quinnipiac holds a 29-13-2 all-time record against RPI and enters the weekend with an 11-game win streak over the Engineers.
- Sophomore Charlotte Wensley leads the team with six points this season, highlighted by one multi-goal and one multi-assist performance.
AMONG THE NATION'S BEST
- Junior Kahlen Lamarche is 2nd in the NCAA in goals (12) and points (19), and 1st in game-winning goals (4).
- Sophomore goaltender Felicia Frank is 2nd in the NCAA in wins (9), 3rd in GAA (1.34), 4th in SHO (2), and SV% (0.946) against those who have played 8+ games.
MARCHY MADNESS
- Kahlen Lamarche earned ECAC Forward of the Week on 10/21 after tallying 8 points against Northeastern, scoring seven goals and an assist.
- The most goals by any player (men's or women's) in a single weekend in at least 7 years.
- She has totaled 86 points in 85 career games, continuing to be a consistent offensive threat for the Bobcats.
FRANKLY UNSTOPPABLE
- Sophomore Felicia Frank has been dominant in net, leading the Bobcats to nine wins, including two shutouts.
- She recorded 56 saves this past weekend against Yale and Brown.
- Frank earned ECAC Goaltender of the Week honors three consecutive weeks (9/30-10/14).
IN THE POLLS
- The Bobcats remain at No. 7 in both the USCHO and USA Hockey national polls this week.
PRESEASON ECAC STANDINGS
- Cass Turner's squad was picked tied for fourth in the preseason coaches' poll.
- Cornell, Colgate, and Clarkson were picked as the top three.
STRONG RETURNING GROUP
- QU returns 55% of its scoring from a season ago, with their rising sophomore class accounting for over a third of that production.
- ECAC All-Rookie Team selection Makayla Watson will be back on the blueline after notching 16 points a season ago.
- Last season's leading scorer, Kahlen Lamarche, returns for her junior year in Hamden after two-straight 30+ point seasons.
- Laurence Frenette, Tessa Holk, Emerson Jarvis, and Bryn Prier each return after having double digits points as well last season.
