Before Quinnipiac:
- Multi-athlete star at Southern Lehigh High School in Pennsylvania, Isamarie Ramos comes to Quinnipiac with both regional and international stardom in field hockey as well as quite the reputation as a track athlete
- Led Southern Lehigh to back-to-back District 11 2A field hockey championship in 2011 and 2012
- In 2011, Southern Lehigh went on to win the League title
- In the 2012 District title game, Ramos made her first start at forward and scored the only goal of the night in a 1-0 victory for Southern Lehigh
- Named Team MVP in 2009, 2010 and 2011
- Her long list of international experience includes being named to the Puerto Rican National Team as just a junior in 2012
- She is the youngest player on the Puerto Rican National Team by more than a decade
- A long list of international laurels includes 2013 Keystone Games silver medalist, 2011 CNY U-16 National Field Hockey Festival gold medalist, 2011-12 Copa Olimpica in Puerto Rico goal medalist, 2013 Copa Invitacional Guadalajara, Mexico bronze medalist and 2013 Copa Interamericana in Panama City, Panama bronze medalist
- Her athletic stardom doesn’t stop at field hockey as she has six years of varsity cross country, indoor and outdoor track experience at Southern Lehigh, making the varsity squad as just a seventh grader
- Named varsity track MVP in 2010, 2011 and 2012 as well as the MVP in outdoor track in 2012
- Class Champion in the Steeplechase in 2010 and 2011, Ramos specialized in the one mile run throughout her varsity track career

- Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico and raised first New York and most recently in Center Valley, Pa.
- Daughter of Charles and Shamarah
- Has two siblings, one sister Isamar and one brother Charles
- Left her native country Puerto Rico when her father took a job in a ribbon mill in New York before she had entered kindergarten
- A natural track athlete who enjoys distance running as a hobby off the field
- Plans to major in Nursing
