As a Graduate Student in 2017-18:
MAAC All-Academic Team selection ... Served as a team co-captain (along with Greg Tarca) ... Had five points, eight rebounds and four steals off the bench at Fairfield (2/17) ... Had four steals on Senior Day against Saint Peter’s (2/23) ... Tallied seven steals against Maine (11/26), one shy of the school record, to go along with seven points and six rebounds ... Started on opening day against Dartmouth (11/11) and had career highs of six rebounds and two assists.
As a Senior in 2016-17:
Had a career-high 10 points on 4-4 shooting in the MAAC Tournament against Niagara (3/2) ... Tallied a career-best four steals against Siena (1/30) ... Had five points in the final minute against Canisius to nearly lead a late comeback (1/4) ... Tallied five points on 2-2 shooting in a win at Maine (12/18) ... Had four second-half points and a key assist for a three-pointer to stop a Red Fox run in a win over Marist (12/4) ... Tallied five second-half points against Seton Hall (11/25) ... Had two points and two rebounds in 11 minutes against Vermont in the season opener (11/12).
As a Junior in 2015-16:
Appeared in 14 games on the year ... Averaged 0.8 points and 1.1 rebounds ... Played a career-high 19 minutes on opening day against Sacred Heart (11/13) ... Had five points, four rebounds and a career-high two steals against the Pioneers.
As a Redshirt Freshman in 2014-15:
Appeared in 16 games, including a start ... Averaged 1.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game ... Scored a season-high seven points, including 5-5 shooting from the foul line, in a win over Vermont (11/30) ... Had three points in a win over Oregon State (12/21) ... Knocked down a three-pointer against La Salle (11/18) ... Pulled down a season-high five rebounds in a win over Albany (11/22) ... Had three rebounds on five other occasions, including the Oregon State win.
As a Freshman in 2013-14:
Played in eight games for the Bobcats … Finished with two steals and two rebounds on the season … Recorded his first career statistic with a steal in the win at Maine (11/25) … Sat out the last half of the season with an injury.
Before Quinnipiac:
Chigha came to Quinnipiac after a successful career at The Rock School in Gainesville, Fla. … Blossomed as a sophomore, averaging 9.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in route to a spot on the Florida All-State team … The 6-foot-7 forward delivered another stellar season a year later, averaging 10.0 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game ... Named to the All-State team for a second straight year while also earning his first of two Lion awards – an honor given to the best all-around student-athlete, athletically and academically … Career was highlighted by a game in a North Carolina Tournament where he finished with 17-points, 19-rebounds, seven assists and six steals … He was named to the All-Tournament team.
