HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball erased a 15-point deficit during the second half of Monday afternoon's MAAC contest, earning the home win over Manhattan by the final score of 98-92 in overtime from M&T Bank Arena.

Asim Jones dropped a career-high 30 points in the win, going 9-of-15 from the floor. The senior guard buried six 3-pointers.

Keith McKnight registered his first career double-double (11 points, 12 rebounds). Jaden Zimmerman added 17 points.

GAME REWIND
QU battled to a one-point lead at the end of the first half (38-37). Asim Jones led the Bobcats with 11 points over the first 20 minutes, while Terrance Jones scored 10 points for Manhattan. The Jaspers outscored the Bobcats in the paint over the first half (24-14 margin), but Quinnipiac knocked down six triples to take the lead into the locker room.

Manhattan built a double-digit lead to open up the second half. Devin Dinkins knocked down a 3-pointer to give the Jaspers a 63-48 lead with 13:14 left in the second half. From that point, the Bobcats finished regulation on a 32-17 run to force overtime.

Quinnipiac outscored Manhattan 18-12 during the overtime frame to earn the MAAC victory. Asim Jones tallied eight points in the overtime frame, going a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe during the final five minutes of action.

Quinnipiac shot 33-of-66 (50.0%) in total, knocking down 11 3-pointers in the win.
Asim Jones poured in 30 points (new career high), adding five rebounds and five assists. The Bobcats' floor general went 6-of-9 from 3-point range and a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Jones is averaging 16.1 points per game through nine MAAC games. He has three different 20-point performances in 2025-26.
Keith McKnight registered his first collegiate double-double. The first-year Bobcat scored 11 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (season high) in 34 minutes. McKnight grabbed seven rebounds during QU's second-half surge.
Jaden Zimmerman chipped in with 17 points and seven assists, going 6-of-14 from the field. He scored 13 points during the Bobcats' second-half comeback.
Grant Randall added 14 points and eight boards, going 5-of-11 over 43 minutes of action.
Amarri Monroe recorded 13 points, seven rebounds and a pair of steals.
Spence Wewe finished with six points and five rebounds. His efficient day ended with a 3-for-4 shooting line. Wewe tallied four points and four rebounds over the first eight minutes of the game.
Quinnipiac is now 13-13 against Manhattan since 2013. The Bobcats have taken four of the last five meetings.
