Egdahl Leads Bobcats in Fairfield Tri-Match

Fairfield, Conn. – The Quinnipiac Bobcats finished second in the Fairfield Tri-Match on Monday afternoon at the H. Smith Richardson Golf Course. Quinnipiac finished with a team score of 314 (+22), finishing three strokes behind the Fairfield Stags.
Alexia Egdahl led the Bobcats as she tied for fourth place with a score of 76 (+3). Egdahl finished the day with three total birdies and closed out with a 38 (+1) on the back nine.
Michelle Wong finished a stroke behind Egdahl in sixth place. Wong shot a 39 (+3) on the front nine and finished with a 38 (+1) on the back nine to be QU's second-highest finisher on the day.
Sophia Fujita finished right behind Wong in seventh place. Fujita finished the day with a total score of 79 (+6). After shooting a 41 (+5) on the front nine, Fujita finished with a 38 (+1) on the final nine holes.
Tekla Fine-Lease finished in a three-way tie for ninth place after shooting an 82 (+9) on the day. Fine-Lease did better on the back nine, shooting a 40 (+3) on the final nine holes.
Mason Egdahl and Amy Goddard finished in a tie for 16th place with a final score of 85 (+12) in the Fairfield Tri-Match.
The Bobcats will be back in action next Tuesday, April 21st, as they open play at the 2026 MAAC Championships at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
