Quinnipiac Closes Out Play at Rutgers Invitational

Piscataway, New Jersey – The Quinnipiac Bobcats had a total score of 322 (+38) in the final round as they finished the Rutgers Invitational in 7th place out of 16 teams.
Marisa Flores and Vaidehi Shah tied for the best finish among the Bobcats, finishing in a four-way tie for 15th place. Both Flores and Shah finished the Rutgers Invitational with a three-round total of 232 (+19).
Samantha Galantini had the best round of any Bobcat on the final day as she shot a 77 (+6) in the final round. Galantini finished with a weekend total of 239 (+26), which was good for third on the team.
Natalie Spiska finished two strokes behind Galantini as she carded an 84 (+13) on the final day, giving her a three-round total of 241 (+28).
Sandhya Vaikuntam closed out her fourth tournament of the year with an 87 (+16) in the final round, giving her a tournament total of 248 (+35).
The Bobcats will be back in action tomorrow, April 13th, as they send six golfers to the Fairfield Tri-Match at the H. Smith Richardson Golf Course.
