Bobcats Fall vs. Marist in MAAC Tournament

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Quinnipiac men's basketball fell in the quarterfinal round of the 2026 MAAC Men's Basketball Championship against Marist by the final score of 77-75 on Saturday night from Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall.
With the loss, the Bobcats' 2025-26 season finishes at 19-13 overall.
Grant Randall led Quinnipiac with 28 points and 15 rebounds. He shot 7-of-10 from the floor and 5-for-5 from 3-point distance in the contest.
Amarri Monroe added 18 points and 10 rebounds, good for his 13th double-double of the season.

GAME REWIND
Marist took a 42-32 lead into halftime. The Red Foxes shot 15-of-32 from the floor over the first 20 minutes, and Marist outrebounded QU 26-15 during that span.
Amarri Monroe led QU with 10 points over the first half of action.
The Bobcats would come out firing in the second half, though, evening things 49-49 after a 17-7 run to open the second half. Grant Randall scored nine consecutive points from 13:41 – 12:23 to help Quinnipiac even things.
The two teams went back-and-forth down the stretch. The Bobcats led by four points after a Jaden Zimmerman layup at the 6:23 mark.
Justin Menard made a pair of big 3-pointers for Marist at 2:06 and 1:27, giving the Red Foxes a six-point lead that the No. 5 seed would hold on to the rest of the way.
