Fadairo Sets School Record to Highlight Bobcats at Dr. Sander Scorcher

NEW YORK — Sophomore Lauren Fadairo broke the program's triple jump record and Nyasia Dailey won the 60m invitational at the first indoor national meet of the season, the Dr. Sander Scorcher at The Armory in New York City.
Fadairo hit 12.07m, besting a six-year-old mark set by Britney Del Mundo, in her final jump to finish fifth overall in the event and top the program charts. They are the only two to jump 12.00m in the program's history.
Nyasia Dailey continued her strong start to the season, racing under 7.50 in the 60m and finishing at 7.49.
Izzie Anzaldo returned to the track, clocking in at 24.84 as the fastest Bobcat in the 200m.
In distance events, Rachel St. Germain bested her PR in the 3k and became one of three runners in Bobcat history to hit sub-9:40 in the event.

The Bobcats have the first of their two meets in Boston this winter, trekking to the Terrier Invitational on Jan. 30.
