7/21/2025 11:00:00 AM | Men's Cross Country
HAMDEN, Conn. — Quinnipiac men's cross country and head coach David Scrivines announced the Bobcats' 2025 slate, leading up to the MAAC Championship meet on Nov. 1 at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, N.Y.
The Bobcats are coming off their best performance at the Championship meet since 2018 and are looking to improve with another young class coming in to make their mark.
The opening meet of the year is again at the Stony Brook Season Opener, held on Aug. 30 on Long Island.
Quinnipiac then heads to the side of the MAAC Championship early, competing at the Jasper Fall Invite at Twin Ponds on the Farm on Sept. 13.
A three-meet October begins at the Paul Short Invitational on Oct. 3, before the Bobcats compete at both the New England (Oct. 10) and ECAC (Oct. 17) Championships, in preparation for the MAAC Championship meet on Nov. 1.
Scrivines' club then heads back to the NCAA Regional meet in New Hampshire on Nov. 14, competing with the best teams in the Northeast for a spot at the NCAA Championship meet.
The Bobcats return four of their five scorers from the MAAC Championship meet a season ago, including rising sophomore Alex Saldana, who led Quinnipiac with a 45th-place finish. Slater von Stetten (second), Michael Dorunda (fourth) and Jackson Sennhenn (fifth), all look to lead the Bobcats again after their scoring performances a season ago at MAACs.
