Clarke Announces 2025 Women's Soccer Schedule

QU Opens Play at Hofstra on August 17th
HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's soccer program has revealed its schedule for the upcoming fall 2025 season, as announced by Head Coach Dave Clarke and the Bobcats on Wednesday, July 16th.

The Bobcats will play 16 regular-season games, hosting seven contests at the QU Soccer Stadium in Hamden. The Bobcats will begin their preseason on August 9th as they host St. John's University in an exhibition contest. Quinnipiac will conclude its preseason at home on August 12th, welcoming the Maine Black Bears to Hamden.
Quinnipiac will open the regular season on the road at Hofstra University on Long Island (August 17th). This will mark the second straight season the Bobcats will open their season with a contest against the Pride, where they earned a draw last season (1-1). QU will return to Long Island on August 21st as they head to Stony Brook University for the second non-conference game of the season.
After two road contests to begin the season, Quinnipiac will welcome the Syracuse Orange to Hamden for the 2025 Home Opener. This will mark the first time the two programs will be facing off. After their matchup with Syracuse, the Bobcats will head back to Long Island as they will face the LIU Sharks in their final non-conference game of the season.
Quinnipiac will begin MAAC play on September 6th as they host the Rider Broncs. Quinnipiac defeated the Broncs 1-0 last season and has won five straight contests. After traveling to Niagara to take on the Purple Eagles (September 13), they will return home for two straight contests. On September 20th, the Bobcats will battle Mount St. Mary's, the team that gave the Bobcats one of their two regular-season losses. Quinnipiac will wrap up their short homestand as they face Fairfield in a 2024 MAAC Championship rematch on September 24th.
The month of September concludes with a road contest at Merrimack College on September 27th. Quinnipiac defeated Merrimack 5-0 at home last season, but will head to North Andover, Mass., for the first time in their Division I history.
The Bobcats will kick off the month of October with a road contest at Siena in Loudonville, NY (October 1). Quinnipiac has won three straight contests against the Saints, dating back to September 28th, 2022. QU will return home on October 4th as the Saint Peter's Peacocks come to Hamden for the first time since 2023. Just four days later, Quinnipiac will head back on the road to face the Marist Red Foxes in Poughkeepsie, NY.
QU will take on Canisius in their final weekend home game of the season (October 11). The Bobcats defeated the Golden Griffins in both matchups last season, with their most recent win coming in the MAAC Tournament (3-1, November 7th).
Quinnipiac will wrap up its road slate with contests at Sacred Heart (October 18) and Iona (October 25) before taking on Manhattan in the regular season finale in Hamden (October 29).
The Bobcats went 14-5-1 (10-2 MAAC) just a season ago and made their fourth straight appearance in the MAAC Championship Game. Last season, the Bobcats had a stretch of ten straight contests with a clean sheet, winning their first eight MAAC contests.
