
Bobcats Celebrate the Seniors at Young Invite at Yale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac women's track and field program celebrated Senior Day on Saturday afternoon, competing in the Mark T. Young Invite at Yale.
Quinnipiac took home six victories, winning four events on the track as Nyasia Dailey won the 100m, Sydney Lavelle took home the 400m Hurdles and the squad son both the 4x100 and 4x400 relays.
In field events, Kiera Baxter won the long jump while Lauren Fadairo earned top spot in the triple jump.
Talia Graham tied her program record in the pole vault, marking 3.75m for the second time this outdoor season.
The Bobcats as a whole finished with eight program top ten performances.
TOP 10 PERFORMANCES
Qualifying athletes will head to the Penn Relays next weekend in Philadelphia, while the team will also compete at Central Connecticut and the Blue Devil Invite.

- Graham also performed a top ten time in the 100 meters, sprinting in 12.33 for eighth all-time, along with tying her program record in the pole vault.
- Hailey Tolson ran a personal-best in the event as well, clocking in at 12.35 which is ninth-fastest.
- Isabel Wheeler ran the 100 meter hurdles in 15.12, which puts her seventh on the program's chart.
- Michelle Tota ran the 200 meters in 24.95, good for seventh on the top ten list.
- Kiera Baxter also ran a top ten time in the event, finishing in 24.96 which slots her eighth.
- Baxter also jumped a 5.65m in the long jump, putting her sixth on the program's leaderboard.
- Sadie Souls finished the 400m hurdles in 1:05.32 which is eighth-fastest in program history.
