Men's Tennis Completes Perfect MAAC Season

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's tennis defeated Fairfield 5-2 on Thursday afternoon, completing its first perfect 8-0 regular season in MAAC play.
After already clinching the MAAC regular season crown on Sunday evening, QU was still able to take care of business at Fairfield, winning five singles matches. Daniel Velek, Carlos Braun Simo, Elias Hoxha, and Vishal Prakash each won in straights sets while Finn Burridge won his match 6-3 in the third set.
QU will now await its opponent for the MAAC semifinals, facing the winner of the No. 4 versus No. 5 seed on Saturday April 26, at 10:00 AM at Mercer County Tennis Park in West Windsor, N.J.
