Bobcat Clinch Share of MAAC Regular Season Title with Win

TRUMBULL, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's tennis team clinched a share of the MAAC regular season title with their 6-1 win over Sacred Heart on Sunday evening.
The Bobcats now have clinched at least a share of the MAAC regular season title for 10 straight seasons. QU will now turn their sights on Fairfield for the outright regular season championship and perfect 8-0 season on Wednesday, April 16 at 3:00 PM in Fairfield, Conn.
QU earned the win with doubles wins from Willow Renton / Caitlin Flower and Vera Sekerina / Anagha Shankar. In singles, Anagha Shankar, Caroline Schulson, and Jordan Bradley each won in straight sets while Willow Renton and Caitlin Flower won in three sets.

- With the win, QU clinches a share of the regular season MAAC title, for 10th time in the MAAC.
- The Bobcats will look for their ninth perfect MAAC regular season on Wednesday afternoon in Fairfield.
- 7-0 is their best record in the MAAC regular season since going 7-0 in 2018.
- Anagha Shankar moved to 7-0 in MAAC singles while winning her eighth straight singles match.
- Caitlin Flower and Willow Renton are 7-0 in MAAC doubles.
- Caitlin Flower is now 11-1 in MAAC singles play in her career and 13-0 in doubles play.
- Caroline Schulson is also undefeated in MAAC singles this season at 6-0.
QU will travel to face Fairfield University on Wednesday, April 16th at 3:00 PM.
