Softball Announces 2026 Schedule

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac softball program will open its 2026 season on the west coast, as head coach Hillary Smith announced the team's schedule on December 17.

The Bobcats are slated to compete in the UNLV Tournament from Feb. 13-15, facing Seattle University, UC Davis, and host UNLV.
The following weekend, Quinnipiac travels to Virginia to compete in the Norfolk State Tournament, taking on Maine, Norfolk State, and Stony Brook from Feb. 20-22.
Conference play gets underway with back-to-back MAAC road series, beginning at Saint Peter's on Mar. 7-8, followed by a trip to Iona on Mar. 14-15.
QU returns to Hamden for its home opener on Mar. 18, hosting a doubleheader against newly Division I program New Haven. The Bobcats continue their homestand with MAAC matchups against Niagara on Mar. 21-22 and Merrimack on Mar. 24.
Road action resumes with a series at Rider on Mar. 28-29 before the Bobcats head back home to play Manhattan on Apr. 3-4. QU then makes a quick trip down I-95 for a midweek doubleheader at Fairfield on Apr. 7, followed by a non-conference contest at Fordham on Apr. 11.
The Bobcats host Marist on Apr. 18-19 and finish its road schedule at Mount St. Mary's on Apr. 25-26. The Bobcats will wrap up the regular season at home, hosting in-state rival Sacred Heart on May 1-2.
Quinnipiac enters the 2026 campaign coming off its best MAAC record in the past eight seasons, finishing conference play at 14-11.
