HAMDEN, Conn. – No. 9 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey is set to compete in the Nutmeg Classic this weekend, hosted by No. 8 UConn at Toscano Family Ice Forum in Storrs, Conn. QU is looking to win their fifth championship in six years.
The Bobcats will play No. 8 UConn for Friday afternoon's contest before facing Sacred Heart or Yale Saturday.

The Bobcats will play No. 8 UConn for Friday afternoon's contest before facing Sacred Heart or Yale Saturday.
SCOUTING UCONN
- This is the first regular season matchup between the two teams since Nov. 24, 2023.
- The Huskies are coming off a weekend sweep against Vermont, moving to 10-3-1 on the season.
- Senior Kyla Josifovic leads the team in goals (6) and points (14), and is tied for assists (8).
- Goaltender Tia Chan has a 9-3-1 record including 2 shutouts and averaging a 0.949 SV%.
CATS CLAIM ECAC HONORS
- Felicia Frank was awarded ECAC goalie of the week for the fourth time this season on 11/11 after recording 54 saves against St. Lawrence and Clarkson, including a 32 save shutout vs Clarkson.
- Kahlen Lamarche and Makayla Watson picked up forward and defender of the month after their stellar performances to open the season. The junior had scored 22 points in 11 games, while the sophomore defender had 9 points and 12 blocks.
AMONG THE NATION'S BEST
- Junior Kahlen Lamarche is 1st in the NCAA in goals (19), tied for 2nd in game-winning goals and power-play goals (4), and 3rd in points (27).
- Sophomore goaltender Felicia Frank is 2nd in the NCAA in SV% (0.942) and 3rd in wins (12) and GAA (1.40) among goalies who have played 14+ games.
MARCHY MADNESS
- Kahlen Lamarche earned ECAC Forward of the Week for the second time this season after recording her third hat trick of the year against RPI on 11/1.
- The junior tallied 8 points against Northeastern, scoring seven goals and an assist. The most goals by any player (men's or women's) in a single weekend in at least 7 years.
- She has totaled 94 points in 91 career games, continuing to be a consistent offensive threat for the Bobcats.
Lets Be FRANK
- Sophomore Felicia Frank has been dominant in net, leading the Bobcats to 12 wins, including four shutouts.
- Frank earned ECAC Goaltender of the Week honors between 9/30-10/14, and most recently on 11/11.
