No. 7 Bobcats Defeat No. 12 Northeastern in Friday Afternoon Thriller

HAMDEN, Conn. – The No. 7 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team earned its seventh consecutive win Friday afternoon after beating No. 12 Northeastern 5-3, their best start since the 2023-24 season.
Emerson Jarvis opened the scoring for the Bobcats in the first period, netting her second goal of the season to give Quinnipiac an early advantage.
Kahlen Lamarche extended the lead with her second point of the game just 35 seconds into the second period.
Lamarche struck again midway through the frame for her seventh goal of the season, marking back-to-back multi-goal performances in two of her last three games.
Northeastern cut the deficit to 3-1 late in the second after Eloise Caron tallied her second goal of the season.
The Huskies rallied in the third with a pair of power-play goals to even the score, but Lamarche responded once again completing her second career hat trick to retake the Bobcats' lead.
The junior forward capped off a dominant performance with a power-play goal in the final two minutes, becoming the second player in the NCAA this season to record a four-goal game.
Goaltender Felicia Frank made a career-high 30 saves on 33 shots to secure the victory.
With the win, Quinnipiac improves to 7-0-0, extending its unbeaten streak to seven straight games to start the 2025-26 campaign.
