
No. 7 Bobcats Undefeated Streak Stays Alive, Complete Weekend Sweep of Syracuse

SYRACUSE, NY – The No. 7 Quinnipiac Bobcats continued their undefeated start to the season, completing the weekend sweep of Syracuse with a 5-1 victory on Saturday afternoon.
Kahlen Lamarche opened the scoring just six minutes into the first period, giving the Bobcats an early edge for the second straight game.
Senior defender Zoe Uens doubled the lead on the power play, netting her first of the season and fifth of her career.
Quinnipiac kept it rolling into the second period as Laurence Frenette found the back of the net just 36 seconds in.
Bryn Prier extended the lead later in the frame with another power-play goal, marking her second of the season.
Syracuse tallied its first goal of the weekend in the third period, but the Bobcats held strong the rest of the way.
With two minutes remaining, Lamarche sealed the win with her second goal of the game — a shorthanded empty-netter.
Felicia Frank secured her sixth win of the year, stopping 26 in net in today's matchup and 44 across the two-game series. With the win, Quinnipiac extends its winning streak to six straight to start the 2025-26 campaign.
