Bobcats Post Four MAAC-Best Times, Seven Program Top 10s at Terrier Classic

BOSTON — The Quinnipiac women's indoor track and field program posted four, MAAC-best times and added two more top-three performances as part of the Terrier Classic, held by Boston University.
Senior Rylie Smith was part of a pair of these performances, topping the MAAC Charts in the 500m (1:13.67) before joining forces with Sydney Lavelle, Izzie Anzaldo and Alyssa Romagnoli to top the league in the 4x400 relay (3:47.05).
First-year Kiera Baxter sits tops of the league after running 25.10 in the 200m, while Rachel St. Germain's 16:32.09 in the 5k puts her at the top of the conference with just four weeks until MAACs.
All in all, the Bobcats placed seven new times on the program's top 10 list.

The Bobcats head to Staten Island for the FastTrack National Invite on Feb. 7 as the countdown to the MAAC Championships is on. Quinnipiac will have one more meet after that to prepare for the conference meet.

TOP 10 PEFORMANCES
- Isabel Wheeler improved on her top-10 time in the 60m hurdles, finishing in 9.30. That time is good for eighth on the program charts.
- Kiera Baxter entered the top 10 in the 200m with her 25.10 performance.
- Smith ran the fastest 500m in 11 years, clocking in 0.15 shy of the program record set in 2014.
- Sierra Gray jumped up to eighth on the program list in the 3k, finishing the race in 9:47.80.
- St. Germain ran the fastest 5k in 19 years, finishing in 16:32.09. That number is good for second all-time in Quinnipiac history.
- Lauren Fadairo cleared 1.55m in the high jump, marking her 10th on the program list.
- The 4x400 relay team of Smith, Anzaldo, Lavelle and Romagnoli ran the relay in the fastest time since 2020, clocking in at 3:47.05.
