
Saldana's Finish Highlights Bobcats at Stony Brook Season Opener

STONY BROOK, N.Y. — The Quinnipiac University men's cross country team started its 2024 campaign on Long Island, taking part in the annual Stony Brook Season Opener on Saturday morning.
First year Alex Saldana was the highlight for David Scrivines' club, as the Oradell, N.J., native finished ninth to lead all Bobcat runners on the day. He finished at 19:47.00.
Slater Von Stetten and Andrew Woodbine rounded out the Bobcat top three, finishing in 35th and 42nd respectively.
STATS AND NOTES
The Bobcats return to action in two weeks, taking a sneak peek at the MAAC Championship course at the Jasper Fall Invite at Twin Ponds on the Farm on Sept. 14.
