WASHINGTON, D.C. – Quinnipiac Women's Soccer fell to the Preseason Big East favorites, the Georgetown Hoyas, by a final score of 5-0 on Thursday evening.

The Hoyas struck first in the 25^th minute on an own goal by the Bobcats before netting their second goal of the half in the 36^th minute.

Georgetown added their third goal on the contest in the 62^nd minute before making it 4-0 less than a minute later. With 13 minutes to play, an own goal by the Bobcats made it a 5-0 lead for the Hoyas.

Sofia Lospinoso made nine saves in 77 minutes of game action and Gwen Hoyt recorded on save in 13 minutes.
