Pecora, Bobcats Announce 3 Signings Ahead of 2024-25 Season

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac Men's Basketball program and Head Coach Tom Pecora have announced the signings of Braylan Ritvo, Grant Randall and Jaden Zimmerman to the Bobcats' program heading into the 2024-25 season.
 
Quinnipiac – the defending MAAC regular season champion – adds Ritvo, Randall and Zimmerman to its incoming class alongside Connecticut-native Samson Reilly, who committed to the Bobcats during the fall.
 
"We're excited to officially announce the signings of Braylan Ritvo, Grant Randall and Jaden Zimmerman," Quinnipiac Head Coach Tom Pecora said. "These three young men, along with Samson Reilly, will be a huge part of the future success of our program."
 
"With this class, we really wanted to focus on players who come from winning programs, are multi-positional, and can really shoot the ball. We can't wait to have them here on campus this summer as we continue to compete for championships."
 
BRAYLAN RITVO (White Plains, NY)
Ritvo joins the Bobcats after stuffing the stat sheet with per-game averages of 14.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.2 steals & 1.1 blocks in 30 contests at Archbishop Stepinac High School.
 
"Braylan is an intelligent, skilled wing who has helped his teams win at a high level," Pecora said. "He's a big-time shooter who really knows how to play the game."
 
He earned CHSAA Player of the Week in December of 2023, posting 20 PPG during the course of that week.
 
GRANT RANDALL (Queens, NY)
The 6-foot-9 forward is ranked the 7th best player in the state of Connecticut by New England Recruiting Report. He's the 23rd ranked player in the region by Prep Hoops New England.
 
"Grant is an athletic, multi-positional wing who can affect the game in many different ways," Pecora said. "He defends, rebounds, blocks shots, and is another guy who can really shoot the ball."
 
During his postgraduate year Randall started out at Mont Sports Academy, where he averaged 24 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks and 2 steals per game. Randall then wrapped up his prep career up at Putnam Science Academy during the second semester this past season, helping lead the program to the Prep School National Championship contest in March. The team went 21-4 after he joined the school mid-season. Randall averaged 6.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game at Putnam Science Academy over the 2023-24 season.
 
JADEN ZIMMERMAN (Bronx, NY)
The 6-foot-5 guard helped guide Cushing all the way to the NEPSAC Semifinals this past year. Zimmerman averaged 17 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 assist at Cushing, shooting 50% from the field and 35% from 3-point distance.
"Jaden is a tough, athletic guard from NYC that will bring athleticism and scoring to our backcourt right away," Pecora said. "He has great size for a guard, and is another incoming athlete that is all about winning."
 
Zimmerman averaged 17 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists per game at Eagle Academy in the Bronx, He was selected PSAL Player of the Year, Third Team All-State, and is a two-time Borough Champion.

The 6-foot-8 wing was selected First Team All-CHSAA "AA" in 2023-24 for his performance, and was also named Most Valuable Player of the Spaulding Hoophall Classic at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass. In high school, Randall was selected AJC North Fulton Honorable Mention as well as AJC Class A Division I 2nd Team All-State for his efforts as a senior. He was also tabbed GBCA 1A All-State, HoopSeen Class A Division I Second Team, and Sandy Spiel Class A Division I Second Team.
