Bobcats Place Third at New England Championships

BOSTON — The Quinnipiac University women's track and field program closed out its indoor season with a third-place finish at the 2024 NEICAAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, held at The TRACK at New Balance in Boston.
The Bobcats claimed three event victories, with the Distance Medley Relay clocking in at 11:56.12 to claim the win. Two distance runners earned top spot, as Alessandra Zaffina won the mile for the second consecutive weekend and Rachel St. Germain led a 1-2 Bobcat finish in the 3k.
Corinne Barney finished second for the Bobcats in that event as they claimed a total of nine podium finishes.

- The Bobcats' DMR team of Alessandra Zaffina, Elise Barricelli, Asia Mercier and Rachel St. Germain clocked in at 11:56.12, good for fifth on the program charts.
- Rylie Smith, Izzie Anzaldo, Sydney Lavelle and Alyssa Romagnoli finished the 4x400 in 3:51.36, which is 10th-fastest in program history.
- Both St. Germain (9:41.76) and Barney (9:47.77) are into the Top 10 in the 3k, with Rachel in third and Corinne in seventh.
