No. 7 Bobcats Fall to Clarkson in OT

HAMDEN, Conn. — The No. 7 Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team clawed back twice to tie the game but fell in overtime to Clarkson on Friday night by a 3-2 at M&T Bank Arena.
Zach Tupker and Cooper Moore each provided game-tying tallies, with Tupker's coming shorthanded at the 15:11 mark of the second and Moore slapping a shot home at the 7:38 mark of the third.
Clarkson took advantage of an interference call on Jayden Lee, scoring on a 4-on-3 advantage in the extra session to take the extra point.
STATS AND NOTES
Senior Day in Hamden commences Saturday, when the Bobcats take on St. Lawrence at 7 p.m., at M&T Bank Arena. The program will honor seven seniors in a postgame ceremony on the ice.

STATS AND NOTES
- Charles Alexis Legault extended his point streak to five games, adding an assist on the Tupker tally.
- Mason Marcellus also added an assist, extending his point streak to three games. He also has 10 in the last seven contests.
- Moore added his third goal of the season and first since a 9-2 win over Princeton on Jan. 12.
- Tupker has recorded goals in back to back contests.
