Foley Earns MAAC Player and Rookie Of The Week Honors

EDISON, NJ – Quinnipiac Women's Basketball first-year Anna Foley has been named Hercules Tires MAAC Women's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday, Feb. 5, 2024.
Foley averaged a double-double (21 points per game and 12 rebounds per game) in Quinnipiac's two games this past week. In the game at Marist (2/1), Foley set new career highs with 24 points and 14 rebounds. Foley added two steals and one block to help lead the Bobcats to a come from behind overtime victory.
In the Bobcats double-digit win over Rider, Foley lead Quinnipiac with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Foley shot 7 for 13 (53.8%) from the field and was 4 for 5 (80%) from the free-throw line. Anna added four assists and three steals to help the Bobcats win their second straight contest.
The Bobcats (9-11 overall, 6-5 in the MAAC) return to action on Thursday, Feb. 8, hitting the road to battle the Saint Peter's Peacocks. QU finishes off the weekend with a road matchup against the Siena Saints on Saturday at 2 PM.
