No. 9 Bobcats Bounce Back with Win at RPI

TROY, N.Y — The No. 9 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey bounced back with a 4-2 win over RPI on Friday, Feb. 16.
The Bobcats got on the board early when Nina Steigauf hit Jess Schryver at the hash marks and she shot it and scored.
RPI got one back in the second period despite heavy pressure from the Bobcats.
Halfway through the third Alexa Hoskin broke the tie on the power play.
Just over two minutes later Maya Labad picked up the puck after a faceoff win and backhanded it over the goaltender's should to push the lead.
RPI would bring it within one on the power play before Maya Labad hit the empty net from her own goal line.

- Maya Labad scored twice to push her goal total to 12 on the year.
- She now has six multi-goal games in her career.
- Labad also added an assist to bring her point total to 24.
- Kate Reilly dished her team-leading 27th assist of the season.
- Alexa Hoskin had a goal and an assist for her first multi-point game of the season and 12th of her career.
- Sophie Urban recorded two assists for the second multi-assist game of her career.
- Nina Steigauf, Maddy Samoskevich, and Kendall Cooper each added an assist as well.
