HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac University women's indoor track and field program and head coach Carolyn Martin announced their eight-meet indoor track and field schedule on Monday afternoon, a slate that begins Dec. 7 in New Haven with the Yale Season Opener.
The Bobcats, captained by Olaitan Olagundoye, Hailey Tolson, Riley Smith and Christina Gunsalus, are coming off a historic performance at the 2023-24 MAAC Championships, posting their second-highest point total ever at 153.
This included a school-record-breaking performance from Olivia DeBellis, who marked 3.60m in the pole vault, and a pair of major award winners in Most Outstanding Track Performer Rylie Smith and Most Outstanding Track Rookie in Ashlynn Witt.
The schedule resumes on the flip side of the holiday break, with the Bobcats participating in four January meets. The schedule starts with the UMass Winter Opener (Jan. 12), followed by the URI Invitational (Jan. 18) in Kingston, R.I., the Dr. Sander Invite at The Armory (Jan. 24) and the Terrier Invite (Jan. 31).
Quinnipiac has a pair of regular meets in February, with the FastTrack National Invite on Feb. 7 and the Giegengack Invite held at Yale on Feb. 15.
The 2025 MAAC Indoor Championships are back at The Armory again, held on Feb. 22 and 23 in New York City.
