RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Quinnipiac Bobcats got back in the win column as they defeated the Manhattan Jaspers, 1-0, on Wednesday afternoon.

With the win, the Bobcats improve to 11-3-1 overall and 9-1 in the MAAC as they still sit in the top spot in the conference standings.

Quinnipiac got on the board early as Anna Bean recorded her first collegiate goal in the 4^th minute. Molly Andrews was credited with an assist on the play.

Sofia Lospinoso made one save in the win over the Jaspers. Lospinoso is now up to ten clean sheets this season, the most in the MAAC.

NOTES

Anna Bean scored her first collegiate goal with a strike in the fourth minute of action.
Molly Andrews was credited with an assist on the Bean goal, which is her second assist of the season.
Sofia Lospinoso recorded her tenth clean sheet of the season, which ranks at the top of the MAAC, with one save in the win.
The Bobcats registered 13 shot attempts, seven of which were shots on goal, compared to two shot attempts from Manhattan.
Quinnipiac earned five corner kicks, while the Jaspers were rewarded with none.
