Roman Tabbed MAAC Offensive Player of the Week

HAMDEN, Conn. – Senior midfielder Rachel Roman has been named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday, Oct. 21.

The Glastonbury, Connecticut native recorded her first collegiate hat-trick in Quinnipiac's 5-0 win over Merrimack on Wednesday, October 16^th. After Roman was credited with an assist on the game's opening goal, Roman netted her first goal of the game in the 28^th minute. Roman got back in the goal column in the 48^th minute and completed her hat-trick with a penalty-kick strike in the 88^th minute.

Rachel's seven points in a single game is the fourth highest point total in a single game in program history and most since September 28^th, 2022.

Quinnipiac currently sits in first place in the MAAC with an 8-1 conference mark and have clinched a spot in the 2024 MAAC Women's Soccer Tournament. The Bobcats will be back in action on Wednesday, October 23^rd as they will travel to take on the Manhattan Jaspers at 3 PM.
