Amarri Tice Wins MAAC Player of the Week

QU Sophomore's Double-Double (20 points, 15 Rebounds) Helps Power Bobcats Past Marist
EDISON, NJ – Quinnipiac Men Basketball sophomore forward Amarri Tice has been named Hercules Tires MAAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024.
Tice led the way in Quinnipiac's lone game of the week, recording 20 points and 15 rebounds in a road victory over Marist. The Newburgh, New York-native shot 5-of-10 from the floor, and 8-for-10 from the free throw line during his homecoming game in Poughkeepsie. He also added three steals and two assists.
Tice now has four double-doubles this year – all of which have come over the last six matchups for Quinnipiac. He is averaging 12.6 PPG & 8.8 RPG during MAAC play so far in 2023-24, and 11.8 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 1.9 SPG, and 1.3 BPG.
The Bobcats (12-4 overall) return to action on Friday, Jan. 19, traveling to Siena for another league road contest. QU is back at M&T Bank Arena in Hamden on Sunday, Jan. 21 against Iona.
