HAMDEN, Conn. — Quinnipiac men's cross country continues its fall campaign on Saturday, heading to the site of the 2023 MAAC Championship race as they take on 23 different schools in the race.
Fellow league competitors Canisius, Fairfield, Manhattan, Marist, Mount St. Mary's, Rider and Siena will also compete in the meet.

SEASON = OPENED
- The Bobcats started the 2023 campaign on Sept. 2, battling to fourth at the annual Stony Brook Season Opener on Long Island.
- Quinnipiac avenged its defeat to LIU a season ago, besting the Sharks by four points this time around.
- Michael Strain made his debut in a Bobcats' uniform, scoring for the team in his first collegiate race.
- The Bobcats were selected 9th in the league's annual coaches' poll, released on Aug. 23.
- Quinnipiac was one point behind Fairfield, who the squad bested at the NCAA Regional meet a season ago.
- Iona was unanimously voted the preseason favorites, with Siena and Marist finalizing the top three.
- Quinnipiac opened its season at the Stony Brook Season Opener on Sept. 2, a meet the Bobcats finished sixth in a year ago.
- The Bobcats will get their first look at the MAAC Championship course at the Jasper Fall XC Invitational in Montgomery, N.Y., on Sept. 16 before the Paul Short Run.
- After the New England Championships, head coach David Scrivines' club will complete championship season at the ECAC meet on Oct. 13 and the MAAC Championships on Oct. 28.
