Softball Names 12 to All-Academic, Mary Fogg Named to All-MAAC First, Rookie Teams

HAMDEN, Conn.— First-year center fielder Mary Fogg was named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Conference First Team and All-Rookie Team as announced by the conference office on Tuesday, May 9. Mary Fogg had a spectacular first year with Quinnipiac softball team, posting a .381 batting average and .410 slugging percentage through 134 at bats.
Fogg had 51 hits, 25 runs, two doubles, one triple and two RBIs. She started in all 42 games this season and had a fielding percentage of .935. Fogg also has nine stolen bases on the season.
The conference also announced 12 members of the softball program who were named to the All-Academic Team:
