QU Headed to Texas A&M for 2023 NCAA Tournament

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's tennis is headed to Texas A&M for the opening round of the 2023 D1 NCAA Women's Tennis Championship, as revealed by the NCAA during its annual selection show on Monday, May 1.
The Bobcats – the 2023 MAAC champion – will square off with Texas A&M on Friday, May 5 at 1:00 PM.
Quinnipiac women's tennis won its second consecutive MAAC title on Sunday, April 23, defeating Fairfield by the final score of 4-1 at Mercer County Tennis Courts.
First-year Nikole Lisovyy was named MAAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player. Lisovyy – who won the clinching match at No. 6 singles – went 4-0 over the weekend in postseason play.
QU has now won seven MAAC championships/advanced to the NCAA Tournament seven times since joining the league (2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2021-22, 2022-23) under Head Coach/Director of Tennis Paula Miller. Since joining the conference in 2013-14, the Bobcats have won the regular season outright eight times and have compiled a dominating 60-1 MAAC regular season record over the timespan.
