Home Field on the Line for Bobcats Saturday

HAMDEN, Conn. — After clinching a postseason berth on Wednesday afternoon, the Quinnipiac University women's lacrosse team will earn a home playoff game with a win on Saturday against Mount St. Mary's in Emmitsburg.
The Bobcats can be as high as the three-seed and as low as the six seed when the dust settles on Saturday after the four-game slate finishes the regular season.

- The Bobcats controlled from start to finish on Wednesday afternoon, finishing off their home regular season slate with an 18-8 victory over Iona.
- Quinnipiac ripped off eight of the first nine goals and never looked back as the game would only get as close as three the rest of the way.
- Emily Feeney, Sophia Iaccino and Sophie Spencer recorded five-point days to lead the charge offensively. Spencer scooped a career-high six ground balls.
- Mount is coming off a 20-7 victory over Marist as they look to also clinch a postseason berth. They will earn a spot with a win or a Manhattan loss.
- Erin Anderson and Julianna Sanchez each recorded eight points on the afternoon, while team leader Dani Donoghue scored four goals.
- With a win on Wednesday, the Bobcats clinched their second MAAC postseason berth in the last three seasons.
