Dezi Jones Named to All-MAAC Second Team

Jones Led Bobcats in Scoring (12.4 PPG) During 2022-23 Season
EDISON, NJ – Quinnipiac men's basketball guard Dezi Jones has been selected to the All-MAAC Second Team for his performance during the 2022-23 regular season, as announced by the league office on Monday, March 6, 2023.
Jones – a junior – led the Bobcats in scoring (12.4 PPG), while also recording 3.8 APG and 3.8 RPG. He played in all 31 games for Quinnipiac this year, recording 22 games of 10+ points.

The Hannibal, Missouri-native totaled 14.0 PPG, 4.3 APG and 4.9 RPG during MAAC play for the Bobcats. Jones finished off the regular season with point totals of 28 (vs. Rider), 13 (vs. Manhattan), 15 (at Fairfield) and 21 (at Marist).
His 28 points against Rider on 2/19/23 are a season-high mark. Jones also recorded 5 or more assists in 11 games.
Quinnipiac went 20-11 (11-9 MAAC) in the regular season, surpassing the 20-win mark for just the fourth time in the program's Division I history.
Jones now has 743 points (12.0 PPG) over two years with the Bobcats.
Quinnipiac has now earned 13 All-MAAC honors over five seasons under Head Coach Baker Dunleavy.
