24 Bobcats Tabbed MAAC All-Academic

EDISON, N.J. — A total of 24 Quinnipiac University women's indoor track and field athletes were named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's All-Academic team ahead of this weekend's championships, the league announced on Friday morning.

The full list, entered below, includes five graduate students, four seniors, eight juniors and seven sophomores, honoring the Bobcats' achievements in the classroom. The MAAC All-Academic Team, consisting of 147 student-athletes from the league, honors indoor track and field athletes who have completed two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.

Quinnipiac placed the second-most athletes on the squad, with Marist leading the way at 31. The Bobcats bested Rider (19), Mount St. Mary's (16) and Siena (15) who rounded out the top five.

The announcement comes on the eve of the 2023 Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships, set to be host at The Armory on Saturday and Sunday.
