Schryver Scores Twice to Lead No. 7 Bobcats Over Union

HAMDEN, Conn. — Jess Schryver notched two goals and an assist to lead the No. 7 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team 4-1 over Union in Hamden, Conn. on Friday night.
Just under 15 minutes into the game, Emerson Jarvis picked up a rebound off a Sophie Urban shot and beat the Union goaltender to the far post for the wraparound goal.
Late in the second period, Kate Reilly skated through the neutral zone and beat two Union defenders to pass it to Kahlen Lamarche as she was streaking to the net for the cross-crease goal.
Union would get one back very late in the second period to make it a 2-1 game.
Jess Schryver would score her first goal early in the third period after forcing a turnover in the offensive zone.
She would add one more just with just over a minute left in the game after Emerson Jarvis found her in front of the net after a rebound.
