Four Different Bobcats Score to Beat RPI

HAMDEN, Conn. — Four different Bobcat skaters found the back of the net to lift the No. 7 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team over RPI 4-2 on Saturday, Dec. 2 in Hamden, Conn.
Five minutes in, Kate Reilly hit Sadie Peart diagonal across the neutral zone and she found Madison Chantler alone going to the slot and she found the back of the net to give the Bobcats the lead.
Late in the first, Nina Steigauf hit Maddy Samoskevich from behind the net and she shot it from the point just over the RPI goaltender's glove to push the Bobcat lead on the power play.
RPI would get one back off a turnover in the second period.
Just over a minute later, Veronica Bac picked up a loose puck after a blocked shot and backhanded it in to push the lead back to two.
Midway through the second Emerson Jarvis got a lone behind the defense and fired a shot top right corner.
RPI would score one more goal on the power play in the third but the play of Logan Angers held them off.
