HAMDEN, Conn. — The 2023-24 Quinnipiac University women's indoor track and field season is right around the corner, as head coach Carolyn Martin and the Bobcats released their schedule on Monday afternoon.
The Bobcats will once again start the season with a pair of meets before the holiday break, joining the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener (Dec. 2) and Yale Season Opener (Dec. 9) in Boston and New Haven, respectively.
Quinnipiac will return from the break with a trip back to the track at New Balance on Jan. 14 for the UMass Flagship Invitational before heading to Rhode Island and URI on Jan. 20.
A pair of meets at The Armory, site of the MAAC Championships, await on Jan. 26 and Feb. 2 with the Dr. Sanders Invite, hosted by Columbia, and the Scarlet Knight Open.
Two more pre-championship meets wrap the season as it started, with BU's Valentine Invitational on Feb. 9 and Yale's Giegengack Invite on Feb. 10.
Championship season begins on Feb. 24, with the MAAC Championships at The Armory in New York City.
The New England Championships (March 1-2) and NCAA Indoor Championships (March 8-9) follow suit at the Track at New Balance.
A season ago, the Bobcats came within 14 points of knocking off Rider on the women's side for the conference title. The Hamden squad claimed six, individual event titles with five of them returning for more in the 2023-24 campaign.
