Three Bobcats Sit Within The Top Five After Day One Of The QU Classic

WALLINGFORD, Conn. – Day one of the Quinnipiac Classic has concluded after 36 holes of golf were played on Monday, October 9th at The Farms Country Club. Three Bobcats sit within the top five and five within the top-20.
Aimee Uchida and Leeyen Peralta are sitting in a tie for third place after day one. Uchida shot a 74 (+2) in both rounds and Peralta shot a 72 (E) in round one and a 76 (+4) in round two. They both sit one stroke behind the two golfers that are tied for first place.
First year Samantha Galantini came in at a tie for fifth place after she shot a 149 (+5) in the two rounds combined.
Natalie Spiska (+10) and Meg Yoshida (+12) were separated by two strokes and sit in a tie for 13th place and 20th place respectively.
Senior Emily Luu currently sits in a tie for 30th place after she carded a +15 (79 in round one and 80 in round two).
Riley Carey and Alexia Egdahl were separated by just one stroke after the first day of competition. Carey shot an 82 (+10) and a 79 (+7), while Egdahl came in at an 80 (+8) and an 82 (+10).
Sandhya Vaikuntam did not finish round two but finished round one with a +14 (86).
The Bobcats will be back in action tomorrow, Tuesday, October 10th as they compete in day two of the Quinnipiac Classic at The Farms Country Club in Wallingford, Conn.
