Svecula Scores Twice in Loss to Manhattan

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac men's soccer team fell to 3-2 to Manhattan in a MAAC contest in Hamden on Wednesday, Oct. 25.
After a scoreless first half, Manhattan broke the tie on a goal in the 48th minute.
The Bobcats came back with two quick goals, both scored by Tomas Svecula. The first was on a pass sent from Lucas Beredes, while the second was a penalty kick set up by Jason Budhai.
The Jaspers returned with two goals of their own in the last ten minutes to secure the victory.
The loss drops the Bobcats to 2-8-5 on the season and 0-4-4 in the MAAC.
