SCORING SUMMARY
- (0:50, 3rd period, EV) Quinnipiac 1, Colgate 0: Junior forward Nina Steigauf broke two periods worth of scoreless play early in the third. Graduate Captain Lexie Adzija picked a Raiders pocket to find senior Jess Schryver who passed the puck up to Steigauf in front. Steigauf held the puck to the right of Raider netminder Hannah Murphy who was tangled up with one of her defenders, giving Steigauf a perfect "wait for it" moment to snipe one into the back of the net.
- (15:18, 3rd period, EV) Quinnipiac 1, Colgate 1: The Raiders tied it up at one when Danielle Serdachny managed to slip one past graduate netminder Logan Angers after a turnover by the Bobcats in the neutral zone.
- (0:35, OT, EV) Quinnipiac 2, Colgate 1: Junior forward Olivia Mobley scored the game winning goal a mere 35 seconds into overtime. Junior defender Kendall Cooper passed the puck cross-ice to Mobley in the defensive zone leaving her alone to move up the ice with two Raider defenders. Mobley's initial shot was blocked by Colgate's defense before corralling her own rebound and rocketing the puck off the left post and in from the far circle.
NOTES
- Olivia Mobley is currently riding a three-game scoring streak with her OT goal.
- This is the second time the Bobcats have gone to OT this season (Maine, 3-2 OTW) and Mobley scored both OT goals.
- Logan Angers made 27 saves on the night to earn her 14th win of the year.
- The Bobcats won in the faceoff circle as well, going 39-29 at the dot.
