HAMDEN, Conn. – For the second-straight night, junior Ethan Leyh scored the game-winning goal as #2/2 Quinnipiac sealed a 1-0 victory over RPI on Saturday night. The shutout was the team's 13th of the season, breaking a 22-year old NCAA Division I record for single-season team shutouts.

Leyh scored the game's only goal, turning at the half-wall and throwing a puck towards the goal. RPI goaltender Linden Marshall was partially screened and couldn't keep it out of the net, allowing the Bobcats to take a 1-0 lead.

First year Yaniv Perets made 16 saves in the shutout victory.

Goaltender Yaniv Perets recorded his 10th shutout of the season, becoming just the 6th goalie in NCAA Men's Division I history to record double-digit shutouts in a season.
Brind'Amour tallied his tenth assist of the season, marking a new career high for the junior. He is one point shy of his best single-season mark, set as a first year in 2019-20.
Head coach Rand Pecknold coached the 1,000th game of his career in the victory, becoming the 19th coach in NCAA Men's Division I history to achieve the milestone.
