Mobley Scores Twice, Puts Bobcats Back in Win Column

PROVIDENCE, R.I.—The Bobcats are back in the win column as they defeated Brown, 4-1 on the road at Meehan Auditorium. Junior Olivia Mobley scored two goals and picked up two assists while graduate transfer Shay Maloney tallied the game winning goal and two assists herself.
Sophomore Veronica Bac recorded a goal, graduate defender Courtney Vorster notched two assists and first-year Madison Chantler tallied an assist.

- (9:00, 1st period, EV) Quinnipiac 1, Brown 0—Olivia Mobley opened the scoring at Meehan Auditorium as she cycled through the offensive zone with help from Shay Maloney and first-year Madison Chantler to fire the puck over the glove side of Brown netminder Megane Pilon.
- (18:12, 1st period, EV) Quinnipiac 2, Brown 0—Shay Maloney joined in on the action when she went bar down off a feed from Mobley over the glove side of Pilon.
- (18:35, 1st period, EV) Quinnipiac 2, Brown 1—Olivia Williamson tallied Brown's lone goal of the game, unassisted, as she found a way past Catie Boudiette.
- (6:19, 2nd period, EV) Quinnipiac 3, Brown 1—Sophomore Veronica Bac tallied her second of the year as Mobley centered the puck to Bac waiting in the slot and went five-hole on Pilon and give the Bobcats a 3-1 lead.
- (11:06, 3rd period, EV) Quinnipiac 4, Brown 1—Mobley scored her second of the night with help from Courtney Vorster and Maloney when she effortlessly buried the puck top shelf over the right side of Pilon to secure the Bobcats victory.
NOTES
- Olivia Mobley continues to stay on the scoring sheet as she tallied a three-point night against the Bears.
- Shay Maloney also had a three-point night against her former team, tallying a goal of her own and a pair of assists on Mobley's goals.
- Courtney Vorster had a pair of assists herself and Veronia Bac tallied her second goal of the season.
- Neither team took a single penalty through 60 minutes.
- Catie Boudiette made 16 saves while the Bobcats out shot the Bears 26-16.
- Quinnipiac dominated the faceoff circle, going 28-16.
