HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's soccer begins postseason action on Thursday afternoon in Hamden, playing host to Canisius at 2:00 PM with a trip to the MAAC championship match on the line.

BOBCATS → BEST IN THE MAAC

Quinnipiac went 9-1-0 in the 2022 regular season to earn the league's #1 seed. The Bobcats won each of their final three games of the regular season.
QU is 59th in the country in RPI.

AMONG THE NATION'S BEST

Quinnipiac has scored 3.0 goals per game so far in 2022, which ranks No. 2 nationally just behind Saint Louis (3.11).
The Bobcats have 48 total goals in 16 games.
Courtney Chochol has 12 assists, the fourth-highest total in the country.

COOKE EARNS MAAC GOLDEN BOOT

Junior forward Rebecca Cooke has earned the MAAC Golden Boot Award, as announced by the league office on Monday, Oct. 31.
10 Bobcats earned All-MAAC status in total – with seven QU players making the league's First Team. The Bobcats placed more student-athletes on All-MAAC teams than any other institution.

COOKE LEADS NATION IN GOALS

Cooke currently leads the country in goals (19). She has 45 total points so far during the 2022 season.
Cooke went 11 consecutive games with a goal from 8/25 – 10/12, and has five multi-goal games to date.
The junior recorded 11 goals in MAAC play for the Bobcats.

THE MATCHUP: vs. Canisius

The Bobcats earned a 1-0 win on the road at Canisius earlier this year on Sept. 24. Rebecca Cooke scored in the 14^th minute for QU.
The Golden Griffins advanced over Iona in penalty kicks on Sunday, Oct. 30. Canisius finished the season going 1-0-2 prior to postseason play.

HEAD COACH DAVE CLARKE

Dave Clarke enters his 23^rd season at Quinnipiac.
Clarke has firmly cemented himself as one of the premiere college coaches in the NCAA's highest division. He led the Bobcats to an NCAA Tournament berth in 2000 and a regular season title in 2001, and is the winningest coach in QU program history.

2022 SCHEDULE

The Bobcats 2022 fall schedule features 16 total contests, including eight home games at the QU Soccer Stadium in Hamden.
The Bobcats will open the fall slate on Thursday, Aug. 18 on the road against Lafayette. Quinnipiac then returns to Hamden for its home opener against Stony Brook on Aug. 25.
The MAAC Tournament will take place on Oct. 30, Nov. 3 and Nov. 6 at the highest seed

LAST SEASON

The Bobcats went 13-5-1 last year, going 7-3 in MAAC play during the fall 2021 campaign.
Quinnipiac reached the MAAC Championship, falling against Monmouth on Nov. 7 in West Long Branch, N.J.
QU has advanced to at least the semifinal round of the postseason MAAC Tournament in five of the last six years.
