Bobcats' Schedule Begins Aug. 22, MAAC Opener Slated for Sept. 25

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's soccer program has revealed its schedule for the upcoming 2021 season, as announced by Dave Clarke and the program on Wednesday, July 14.
The Bobcats will open the fall slate on Sunday, Aug. 22 on Long Island against Stony Brook. Quinnipiac then returns home for three straight non-conference matchups against Lafayette (Aug. 25), Yale (Aug. 29), and Albany (Sept. 1).
QU travels to Maine on Sept. 5, followed by a home contest against Vermont on Sept. 8. The Bobcats round out the non-conference schedule at Fordham (Sept. 12) and at Columbia (Sept. 18).
The Bobcats begin the MAAC calendar on Sept. 25 at Monmouth, followed by another road contest on Sept. 29 at Niagara. QU's first league game at the QU Soccer Stadium in Hamden is on Oct. 2 against Marist.
Quinnipiac's other home league dates are: Saint Peter's (Oct. 9), Canisius (Oct. 13), Iona (Oct. 20), Fairfield (Oct. 27). The MAAC Tournament will take place on Oct. 31, Nov. 4 and Nov. 7 at the highest seed.
The Bobcats went 5-2-1 last year, going 4-1-1 in MAAC play during the spring 2021 campaign. Quinnipiac reached the MAAC Semifinals, falling against Monmouth on April 12 in Hamden.
QU has advanced to at least the semifinal round of the postseason MAAC Tournament in four of the last five years.
