Manchester, CT-Native Averaged 18.0 PPG, 10.0 RPG at East Catholic High School in 2020-21
HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac men's basketball program received a commitment from forward Brody Limric, as announced by Head Coach Baker Dunleavy and the program on Friday, June 11.
The Manchester, Connecticut-native played his high school basketball at East Catholic. Limric – a 6-foot-8 forward – was named All-State in the CIAC this past season after averaging 18.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per contest.
Limric helped lead East Catholic High School to a CCC Region C Regular-Season title as a senior in 2020-21, as the Eagles were also CCC Championship Tournament finalists. He is a two-time All-CCC selection. Limric scored 31 points and grabbed 21 rebounds vs. Manchester back in March.
"We're excited to welcome Brody Limric to our Quinnipiac Basketball family as we head toward the 2021-22 season," Dunleavy said. "He had a fantastic high school career right here in our back yard under great guidance at East Catholic. Brody is a skilled forward with great athleticism, who will help our group improve each and every day. Our entire program is looking forward to having Brody join us in July."
As a junior in 2019-20, Limric posted 16.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per contest as the Eagles went 23-1. The Connecticut-native came up the ranks playing AAU basketball for Connecticut Elite, while also playing this spring for House We Built and BABC.

Limric will join the Bobcats for the 2021-22 campaign as a first-year student-athlete with four full seasons of eligibility remaining. He is the fourth announced addition for the Quinnipiac men's basketball program in the spring of 2021.
The Bobcats first announced the signing of Hannibal High School/Moberly Area Community College standout guard Dezi Jones (Hannibal, Missouri) on April 25.
Quinnipiac then revealed the return of forward Kevin Marfo on April 26. Marfo led the nation in rebounding (13.3 RPG) in 2019-20 for the Bobcats, then spent the 2020-21 season at Texas A&M.
The Bobcats then inked guard Bernard "Bernie" Blunt on May 20. Blunt most recently played for Rocktop Academy – a prep school in Pennsylvania. The 6-foot-1 point guard scored over 1,000 points during the 2020-21 season at Rocktop Academy, averaging 29.5 points and 6.0 assists per game.
