Luis Kortright Wins Third MAAC Rookie of the Week Award

Bobcats' Guard Has Won 3 of Last 4 ROTW Honors
EDISON, N.J. – Quinnipiac men's basketball first-year guard Luis Kortright has been named MAAC Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday, March 1.
He scored 17 points to go along with a career-high 12 rebounds in the Bobcats' lone game last week (Sunday, Feb. 28 at Marist). Kortright shot 5-of-14, and also dished out four assists.
Kortright has won three of the last four MAAC Rookie of the Week honors. He's scored 60 points over Quinnipiac's last three contests. In 12 MAAC games this year, Kortright is averaging 10.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists.
He is the second Quinnipiac player to earn MAAC Rookie of the Week honors so far this season. The Bobcats have won the award four times: Tymu Chenery (Nov. 30), Luis Kortright (Feb. 8), Luis Kortright (Feb. 22), Luis Kortright (March 1).
