Senior Jacob Rigoni Sets New Career Mark for Made 3-Pointers (255)

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Quinnipiac men's basketball dropped a MAAC contest, 76-67, at Marist on Sunday, Feb. 28 at McCann Arena.

Jacob Rigoni led the Bobcats with 23 points, shooting 7-of-12 from three-point distance.

Rigoni now has 255 career three-point field goals, surpassing Rob Monroe ('05) to become Quinnipiac's new program leader for career triples.

The Bobcats' senior is now 255-617 (41.3 percent) for his career from three-point range. Rigoni is now up to 1,135 career points.

QU went on a 25-13 run over an eight-minute span in the second half, cutting the lead from 15 points to just three.
The Bobcats knocked down 14 three-point field goals, tying a season-high mark. Quinnipiac also made 14 triples in its latest home win against Rider on Feb. 21.
Senior Jacob Rigoni led the Bobcats' offense, scoring a season-high 23 points. The Australia-native also knocked down a season-high seven three-point field goals.
Jacob Rigoni now has 255 made three-pointers, passing Rob Monroe ('05) to become the Bobcats' career leader in triples.
Luis Kortright added 17 points, 12 rebounds and four assists. The first-year guard shot 5-of-14 from the field, and has tallied double-digit point totals in each of his last three games.
Luis Kortright's 12 rebounds are a new career-high mark. He has 18 rebounds over his last two games.
Matt Balanc chipped in with seven points and five rebounds, going 3-of-7 from the floor.
Brendan McGuire added six points, four assists and three rebounds.
Marist outrebounded Quinnipiac 41-40, and both programs got 30 points from its bench.
